Frequently asked questions
Are the Look R50 Disc wheels compatible with a 12-speed drivetrain?
Yes. The supplied Shimano freehub body accepts Shimano 11 and 12-speed road cassettes, including the Dura-Ace CS-R9200 and the Ultegra CS-R8100.
Can they be set up tubeless?
Yes. The rim is Tubeless and accepts both a tubeless tyre and a tyre with an inner tube.
Which tyre width should be used?
With a 23 mm internal width, the optimal range is 28 to 32 mm. A 30 mm gives the best efficiency / comfort compromise.
Are specific rotors required?
No, the mounting is to the Centerlock standard. Shimano RT-CL900 or RT-MT800 rotors fit directly.
